Pot, Politics, And Corruption: America's Corporate Whores

1

“Judge not, that ye be judged…Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?…” — Matthew 7:1-5

Typical treachery

In this THC infused episode of ‘The Point,’ John Fugelsang sits down to discuss marijuana legalization with Cornell Reid (Comedian), Dave Brian (Editor – The 420 Times), and Sam Humeid (Owner – Perennial Holistic Wellness Center). A dense 40 min. long conversation, delving into the heady history of weed, the medicinal application of its cannabinoids, and just what it might take to end the federal government’s 80+ years of prohibition against a plant.

As the American public are consistently told that “marijuana ruins lives,” people tend to get a little creeped-out and disillusioned. Realizing the true harm comes from the laws that prohibit the plants use – and the punishment handed down by the hypocrites who keep perpetuating their profitable lies.

As our last three presidents have all preached from the “bully pulpit,” lamenting America’s inclination to “Get High” by smoking weed, rather than ‘throwing back’ mind rotting alcohol. All while lying to the American public about their own personal pot use.

The corporate greedheads that profit from this sick type of logic are taking over America’s political system. Pimping out our once proud politicians, turning them into cheap whores… turned out on the corner, ‘doing tricks’ for their master – corporate America.

About Author

Born in Long Beach, raised on the central coast: I surf, dab, burn, and blog – though not necessarily in that order. I'm a husband, a father and a lifelong consumer of connoisseur grade weed. I don't drink alcohol or consume any other "drugs." I consider myself to be living proof that weed is not a gateway drug. If it were, I'd be in some serious trouble. Instead, as a 50-year-old ex-realtor that has been smoking weed for nearly 80% of my life (just did the math) ... I can only say, marijuana is safer than prescription pills or alcohol could ever hope to be for calming what stirs the savage beast.
