| Rebel brother isn't how I'd put it. Asshole brother more like it. If you've still got some brotherly love going you're a step up on me. He was a year and a half older than me and a pure bully. Longer reach, taller and faster because of the age difference and when we were young he loved to torment me. Slap and dodge back again and again until I got enraged and would launch myself at him then I'd be the one to get in trouble because I was the one parents heard. I was highly allergic to poison ivy and he was immune to it so of course it was a lot of fun for him to grab a fistful and chase me around with it. Weeks of misery for me and I don't remember him ever getting into any trouble over it. That only changed when I was about 10 years old, not too long after my parents got divorced. A growth spurt finally killed his advantage and for the time I was as big as he was or close enough to it, for the first time I pinned him into a corner and beat the shit out of him. That day everything changed. Suddenly the boy became a pacifist and couldn't understand the anger, but he had a hard time changing his behaviors and I was still pissed so a couple or few beatings later he moved cross country to live with my father and I hardly ever saw him again. A fact which I'm perfectly fine with. If he had stuck it out and let me work through the years of anger maybe we'd have ended up as friends or something, but to me he's still the abusive bully I used to know and he probably always will be. The few times we have seen each other offers no reason to believe he's changed a bit. Abusive toward those below him, and servile to those above.
