Maximus

The almighty creator does exist, proof is in the pudding. However, I believe every religion has it wrong, I do not believe in intelligent design I believe in accidental design meaning whatever created us has nothing to do with us and probably doesn't even know we exist. This certain "being" is part of our "maximum dimension". This is an idea of mine, I'm not sure if it's already been conjured up just something I think about. The universe is simply a small part of our maximum dimension, just like our minimum dimensions are a very small part of our current dimension. Energy is simply the string of all dimensions, and travels infinitely throughout, like the image on a mirror when another mirror reflects it.

So someone or something in our maximum dimension created us using the universal tool of energy, but in all likelihood has no idea what has been created. Everytime I spark a bowl I think about what I have created in this little minimum dimension and if life had been created on a tiny, tiny scale.

I was a Christian for 20 years.

The book tells me....nothing else. I have no more reason to believe in Jesus than I do Mohammad or the man on the moon. The Bible is Christianity, what else would it tell me, other than Jesus is God?

If you read the Democratic or Republican platform, wouldn't you have to agree that everything they say they are right on? Because they say so.

I am a happier, fuller person since I left Christianity behind. My wife is still a Christian and takes the kids twice a week.....and even she knows that my life has changed since I abandoned Jesus.

The Old Testament warns against false prophets and those who perform miracles. Maybe Jesus was a false prophet. He and Paul certainly made a mockery of the words God spoke in the OT. God said not to drink blood and said he is the ONLY way to salvation. Yet Jesus had people drink wine and told them it was his blood and that he is the way. Freddy

So you just pile it on to Jesus? Sounds like running away from your problems to me, if you cant handle you´re own failure... And if nobody told you sex before marriage was a sin would you consider it a sin? Or is it just something to be worried about for no reason at all?

Exactly. People kill and have killed for a god that nobody can even prove to themselves (let alone others) exists. Torture, murder, rape.....all in the name of god, and that's just some things that happened in the Bible.

Take the albatross off from around your neck and be free of the constraint. Live your life as good as you can. Treat other people with respect. Don't waste the years you have as a conscious creature, it's probably the only life you are gonna get. So be happy. Freddy

Very true. If there is a god, why would he want everyone all over his nuts 24/7? God wouldn't want people to praise him all the time, he would want you to put that effort into loving your life, the life that HE created for YOU to live.
