My main guy ran into some serious trouble, and I was going to make a nice pickup earlier in the week for tonight... of course I am left tryna find someone else in that time and I talk to 2 people, each of them selling for $25/g.

I asked what strain, and the guy said he *thinks* Lavender, but still needs to make sure... I have heard of weed being described as a lavender color, but not heard of the lavender strain. Is 25 bones a g a legit price for dank or am i gettin rode here? I would expect it to be some ridiculous stuff, but I plan to pick up later tonite, wont know for sure until then.

Anybody have any suggestions?

25 a gram is not unheard of but for that you'd need to be getting medical stuff, i mean 25 a gram is usually the best of the best ...of the best, but as always their should be a price break for larger quantaties so ask him if can do 60/eigth but you'd need to have a sample beforehand, also i'd like to say that everyone has diff hookups, im shure someone on this site has access to 25/gram med bud at 10/gram it all depends on the guy your dealing with and your relationship with him.

Damn dude. $25 a gram is steep.

Here is what I would do if I were in a situation like this:

When I went to make the buy i would ask to buy a bowl from him for 3 bucks and you say you'll smoke him up with it. You smoke the bowl with him, if the bud is good enough for the price then you buy the amount. If not tell him sorry you don't want the bud, and you still gave him 3 dollars and smoked him up. This leaves you satisfied and he can't be that mad.

Or you can take his word for it and risk throwing away $60 bucks for a simple moderate high.

Lavender is one of Soma's strains. I believe Soma #10. I grew a lot of AK47 X Lavender for awhile and it was awesome smoke.

wow i havent heard of lavender since the summer and that was the only time i heard of it and smoked it. my friend had bought an ounce of lavender the week of the 4th of july and i hadnt gotten the chance to smoke it.so i hit up my friend and he said i was lucky because he almost ran out of it. so i got some off of my friend and me and 2 of my friends smoked it and it was amazing...def got me mad high and had a real buzz goin on for a while...even my friends mom smoked haha

lol all i smoke are 25 dollar grams 60 dollar eigths etc from the club here in socal and lavender is def one of the most legit weeds around here but its 22 a gram so hes prob making like a 3 dollar profit

have tons of ways to get 25 a gram but I just can't waste it nor do I wanna save up for it. Lol so I just go out and get a eigth for 20 instead. So I can continue to smoke when I want instead of smoking a joint and not have any for the next day. I think though I will one day go for it and keep it for awhile. 20 for a eigth and then 20 for the gram of good stuff.

ok here's the update....

my friend and i each went in with 25 each and got 2 grams. i also had 1 gram of lower quality bud from before that i also brought along. (we figured this special occasion - halloween - would be a good time to kill a lot of bud, so we did) i would never smoke a g or more unless it was a very special occasion.

it was the freshest smelling bud i have yet come across. very nice. we spent about 30 to 45 minutes to kill the 2 g's of lavender. needless to say, i was incredibly high, and... it was just really fantastic best high that i've had in a long while.

about 2 hours later we rolled up the other g and did some nice work on it...

in the end, the night was very very fun, but the moral of this story is that no bud is worth 25 per g. BUT, considering the particular situation and occasion, i do not regret it.
